Applications Now Open for Chairman Tommy Taylor Memorial Scholarship

The Chairman Tommy Taylor Memorial Scholarship was opened by the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers in 2014 in memory of Tom Taylor, a former chairman of The Alliance. He was a prominent figure in the oil and gas industry and an esteemed leader.
 
The one-time $2,500 scholarship is for graduating seniors and currently enrolled college students who have graduated from a Texas high school. The student's field of study must be energy or oil and gas industry-related, including petroleum, geology, and engineering. The award can be used at any college or university for full-time students. 

Applications must be submitted by February 1 at 11:59 PM.

Academic Status: Graduating High School Senior, College Student 
Major or Field: Related to energy or oil and gas

Important Information for the Universal Application

  • Applications MUST be submitted by February 1st at 11:59 pm.
  • You will need to create a login.
  • Based on your answers, the system will provide you with opportunities for which you qualify. You may need to answer additional required questions for specific scholarships. We encourage you to complete all questions so that you will be considered for as many opportunities as possible.
  • All information will be kept confidential within our scholarship program.
  • All required items must be completed and applications submitted in order to be considered for scholarship awards.
  • You can save and edit your application as many times as needed prior to submitting the application.
  • Once your application is submitted, you will not be able to edit it again.
  • All material provided by a third party, including references, must submit their information no later than February 15th for the universal application.
    • It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure their recommenders complete their portion.
