Texas Oil and Natural Gas Industry Launches Coalition to Develop Industry-Led Solutions to Flaring and Methane Emissions

AUSTIN, Texas (Mar. 31, 2020)—“The Texas Alliance of Energy Producers has been a part of the methane/flaring coalition since day one, and our staff and members are pleased to be a part of the discussion about solutions to natural gas flaring, methane and CO2 emissions, and defining the actual and true scope of the problem”, said Karr Ingham, Petroleum Economist and Executive Vice-President for the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers. “With the dual threats of COVID-19 and the Saudi Arabia/Russia price war, it is our honor to guard the interests of our members, and smaller independent oil and gas producers in particular in this process.”
